Today, after finishing my routine at Paediatric Ward at level 4, I rushed to Medical 2 which located at level 6 to do follow-up patient for my case study write-up. With the super slow elevator which I bet really tested my patience, I managed to catch up the afternoon bus, that means, I don't have to waste my money on Grabcar. Luckily, today clinical training finished at 12 pm. However, the suffering period, did not stop at that time as I had to attend a talk given by Prof Leeds about the Weight management to stop obesity and diabetes prevention. Well, totally out of focus, because, as a back-bencher together with another group of girls, clearly I heard nothing. The talk expected to end at 4.30 pm, so I sneaked out from this talk and gone to Bank Islam to change my ATM card for two reasons:
1) Though the expire date of the card is 2 years more, but, ATM rejected as the card is invalid. Can't figure out why.
2) I need to pay for my fee. My university used Bank Islam for the transaction. I hate holding money's that is not mine. I know, obviously that is my money, but dad allocated that amount for my education fees, so, apparently, I do not have the right to spend that. Thus, why should I hold it?
I don't know what is happening with the banking system as the majority of the bank company demanded us to change to Debit-i and paywave. So, basically, I changed mine to their new system and all the problems mentioned above were settled in one shot!.
Lucky me, Bank Islam and Maybank are just nearby, so, I also managed to change my oldmaybank card to the new one. I like their new face! The card is so elegant and stylish. haha.
Now, back to the conversation written above. Pal texted me and gave me that phrase : You live everyday , you only die once. In which I understand :
JUST DON'T DO ANY BAD THINGS BECAUSE YOU WILL DIE ONCE, AND WILL BE WAKEN UP IN THE HEREAFTER, YOU WILL BE JUDGED BASED ON YOUR BAD AND GOOD DEEDS.
Woah , such a very simple and heart-shooting advice. Lesson learnt: DON'T SNEAK DURING CLASS/TALK/LECTURES.
